2008 Art Festival Judges Announced
Molly Rooke received her MA in Art History from the University of Texas, then became curator for the Art Museum of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, Texas. Today her career consists of freelance consulting and research, as well as being an advocate for public interest and organization. She currently resides in the Dallas area and has a ranch near Refugio.

Robert Hughes received his MFA in painting from the University of Houston, and became a member of the faculty at the Glassell School of Art at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. He has also taught at Rice University, the University of Houston, and Bennington College in Vermont. Hughes now owns Robert Hughes Gallery, located in the Arts District of San Antonio, Texas, where he exhibits art ranging from painting to sculpture and jewelry.

Nanci Barnes was the Rockport Art Festival Poster Artist in 2007, where she presented a widely successful solo exhibition, consisting of her unique approach to architectural ceramics. Married to another Rockport Poster Artist, Al Barnes, Nanci continues to exhibit regularly, most recently at the 2008 "Craft Texas" at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft which runs through August 17, 2008.
