RCA Remembers Sandy Booth

After suffering heart break over the loss of her husband of 51 years, Sandra Louise Conley Booth of Rockport, Texas, succumbed to a heart attack and passed away on Tuesday, January 20. Sandra was born in Roswell, New Mexico on July 18, 1943 and grew up in Denver, Colorado. While at Colorado Women’s College, she met and fell in love with a young artist. Together, the enjoyed a life of adventure that landed in Rockport where she lovingly raised a family and donated many hours working with Rockport’s art community, the Presbyterian Church and at Castaways Thriftshop.

Sandra is survived by her sons Jim and Peter, her daughter-in-laws Amy and Dana, her sister Marsha Conley Thorpe, seven grandchildren—Allison, Katherine, Ryan, Anthony, Madeline, Owen and Albert—and niece Jessica McCormick and nephew Wil Thorpe. She is preceded by her husband Herbert Booth, her mother and father Jack and Francis May Conley and her sister Phyllis Harshbarger.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 30th at the First Presbyterian Church of Rockport.
