RCA Announces Winners of the "Student Show and Sale"

ROCKPORT CENTER FOR THE ARTS SHOWCASES OUTSTANDING WORK BY AREA YOUNG ARTISTS AT THE “STUDENT SHOW AND SALE”

ROCKPORT, TEXAS --  Some of the  best and brightest artistic talent from area high schools and colleges is now on display at the Rockport Center for the Art’s “Student Show and Sale.”  The exhibition, which is free to the public, runs through  April 7th. Students’ work was judged in two categories – 2D and 3D.  Two dimensional works include drawing, painting, collage, and printmaking.  Entries in the 3D division include sculpture, pottery and jewelry.  Cash prizes were awarded to winners in each of the categories.  Additionally, many of the students are offering their work “for sale”. Winners, announced at a reception at the Art Center on March 10th, include:
