A Message from Luis Purón, Executive Director

Dear esteemed members,

As the opening of our new campus draws near and we have now had our first art drop off in our new home, I am reminded of what an amazing community of artists, patrons, volunteers, board members and staff comprise our organization.  It was a delight for staff and volunteers to interact with the many member artists bringing in new works during the art drop off.

The artwork is now hung in the beautiful new galleries and we will soon be ready for you to experience what was rightfully named “The Big Wave!”  The first all-member exhibit is a testament to the talent of our member artists, as well as the quantity of member artists in our ranks.  We are so proud of all of you and we know the membership will be impressed with the show!

While we anxiously wait for move in and the opening of our doors, I hope you will continue to be ambassadors of our mission in the community and encourage your friends to join us as members.  Growing our membership base is one of our top staff goals this year, and what better time to join than on the cusp of this exciting new chapter of Art Center history.  We will soon be offering culinary arts classes, world class musical performances, lectures and more in addition to our traditional programming.  There is truly something for everyone in our new home.

Thank you all for being members of this wonderful community.  Together, we can continue to deliver on our mission and reach more people than ever before.
