This exhibition highlights one of the most successful wildlife documentation projects in Texas. The Coastal Bend Wildlife Photography Contest incorporates photographers and landowners in a massive collaboration, contest, and exhibition. Award-winning prints from the latest contest will be on display and available for purchase, as well as the recently released "Wildlife in Focus V" book, which contains a collection of these award-winning images. 

CBWPC Executive Director Patti Young, Crane House/land owner Al Johnson, and Award-Winning Photographer John Martell joined Visual Arts Director John Aasp for a gallery talk on October 30, preceding the opening reception.

About the CBWPC:

Private landowners team up with photographers to capture winning photographs of wildlife and habitat in the Coastal Bend. The sponsor-funded photo contest awards landowners and photographers who share equally in the winnings. The images create appreciation and public awareness about the importance of conserving our amazing and precious wildlife and habitat in the Coastal Bend. The contest is open to any landowner in the 14 county area of the Coastal Bend.
