Learn to transform a single stick of wood into one of the articulated items pictured below.  It is not as difficult as it looks, if you know the secrets of how it’s done.  Learn the basics of wood carving in a one- or two-day seminar.  We will supply all the required tools, safety equipment, and wooden blanks.  We will show you some of the techniques that can lead you to create whimsical or serious works of art.  Give carving a try.  It is an art form with rich traditions and many variations.

On Saturday, we will open the workshop up to children as well. The project will be modified for kids to be more accessible. Adults will still do the more complex project. All children must be accompanied by a parent.

SUPPLIES

You do not need to purchase additional supplies or tools. All Materials will be provided and tools will be available for your use during the workshop.
