How to Register

  • Register Online
    Some Classes & Workshops have the option register and pay online in the class or workshop details. To register online, click the REGISTER ONLINE button for the class you are interested in. Follow the prompts to fill out the registration form and pay online with a credit card. Your online registration and payment will secure your spot in the class or workshop. Please keep your receipt email.If the class requires additional supplies or materials, fees, those fees must be paid in-person at Rockport Center for the arts. The class/workshop instructor will provide details.

  • Register By Phone
    Call us at (361) 729-5519 and pay by phone with credit card.

  • Register In-person
    Stop in at 106 S Austin St in Downtown Rockport and pay with cash, check or credit card.

Membership
Membership is encouraged, though not required to participate in Rockport Center for the Arts class and workshop offerings unless otherwise noted. Typically, Members enjoy discounted registration fees for Classes & Workshops. Membership proceeds help keep the Center free and open to the public year round and help ensure continued educational programming. As a thank you for joining, members receive 20% off classes and workshops. Already discounted membership tuition rates are listed throughout the catalog.

Deposits & Refunds

In order to receive a refund, cancellation notice must be given at least 30 days weeks prior to the start of the workshop. If given the required 30 day notice you will receive a refund of your tuition minus a cancellation fee of $25.00. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the start of the workshop will result in a full forfeiture. No refunds will be issued due to a student’s failure to attend a class.

Cancelled Courses
Students enrolled in courses which are canceled by Rockport Center for the Arts due to lack of enrollment or instructor illness will receive a full refund. Every effort will be made by Rockport Center for the Arts to notify students at least 24 hours before the first class in the event of a cancellation.

Transfers and Prorating Policy
Students wishing to transfer to another course during a current enrollment should consult with the Education Coordinator. Cases will be handled on an individual basis. Please remember that Rockport Center for the Arts must still pay teachers for all registered students unless alternative arrangements are made. Purchasing less than the full number of classes of a course is sometimes an option on a limited basis. Students interested in a partial course should speak with the Education Coordinator. Cases will be handled on an individual basis.
