4-Week Series, In Person
Tuesday Mornings
September 15 - October 6, 2020
9:30 AM - 11:30 AM

** The class timing has been adjusted from a 1.5 hr class starting at 10 AM to a 2 hr class.

The COVID-19 Virus has affected each of us in many different ways. I personally went through a period of “creative block” where I just didn’t want to get out and make photographs. As a professional photographer, this was a real problem for me. Fortunately, I dusted off all of my camera gear and got back to doing what I love… making art! I just needed some sunshine and fresh air again. Getting out of the house with a camera and enjoying our beautiful community is great therapy and it has helped me to better cope. And it can be done safely!

This is a 4-week interactive course where we use our cameras to help restore some normalcy in our lives during this pandemic. Novices, enthusiastic amateurs, and even professional photographers will benefit from identifying activities that inspire creativity.  We will also review some of the best practices for improving composition and overall image quality. Weeks 2, 3, and 4 will include class time devoted to gently critiquing your photographs. All you need is a camera… ANY camera (smart phones to DSLRs) will do… and a strong desire to just do something fun for a change!
