Coastal Paint Along
Guy will demonstrate as a paint along in which the student will watch. The students will then paint their own. Guy will cover the magical way of drawing, applying paint and working with an underpainting. We will cover values, temperature of colors, edges, mood of color and textures. Brushes, paints and artist panel will be provided. Students can finish up in oils or slow dry acrylics.
About the Instructor
Guy Morrow is a native artist painting and living in Corpus Christi and Utopia, Texas. Guy at an early stage studied under local artists Bob Garden and Dick Turner. He self - developed using acrylics, egg tempera and oil. In later years he studied with David Leffel and Daniel Gerhartz. He is a signature member of The American Society of Marine Artists. His paintings were featured in 23 National Museums and 2 foreign countries. He is inspired to paint God’s creation from land to sea. His style is classical. His time in plein air painting has added some impressionistic qualities.
