Bob Coffee, an RCA member artist and president of the Texas Society of Sculptors, has been commissioned to create a bronze in tribute to the city of Georgetown's early settlers. A twin version of the sculpture will also be placed in University Park in Dallas.
Award-winning vocalist Dee Donasco returned to close the 2007-8 RCA Performance Series. Joining her was vocalist Will Douglas, a Rockport-Fulton High School Junior.

Winslow Homer: Society and Solitude, a new, feature-length documentary film on the great American artist will screen Friday, April 25, at 7:00 pm at Texas A&M CC. Filmmaker Steven John Ross will be present.
On April 12, RCA Dedicated its newest sculpture into the Sculpture Garden, "Return of Ancient Wisdom." On another exceptional weekend for the Art Center, several honored guests spoke to the crowd and gave special significance to the event.
