Join collage maker Kelly Schaub as we explore the world of contemporary collage. Experiment with new techniques and materials as we expand our visual vocabulary. Students will create their own unique palette of painted papers and play with compositional elements in an intuitive process of layering and altering imagery, text, color, texture, and line.

If you have not downloaded the Zoom app, I advise you to do that in advance. Contact with the instructor will be done by email and you will be given a link and password for Zoom platform for the class. Live demos, videos, personalized instruction and an interactive student opportunity. Students will work on weekly projects between classes and share with the class via Zoom.

Suggested supplies:

9”x12” pad of watercolor paper
Glue Stick
Matte medium
Sketchbook
Acrylic paints
Brushes
Pencil

A list of optional supplies and syllabus will be emailed before the class starts.
