Deborah Males is a prolific artist with many talents, and her latest show of original paintings is a welcome return to the Art Center. Currently living and working in Corpus Christi, Males' last solo exhibition at Rockport Center for the Arts was in 2005. She recently appeared in "Field of Color" curated by Deborah Fullerton at the Art Museum of South Texas, where she is also part of the permanent collection.
J.P. Morton is a bit of a South Texas Legend. Known for his distinct carving of bird forms out of natural woods, his only public appearance is annually at the Rockport Art Festival. This will be his first solo presentation at Rockport Center for the Arts.
