Chance Yarbrough

Chance Yarbrough grew up in Waco, Texas. He began hunting and fishing with his Dad from a very early age. He has always had an interest and natural talent for art, even as a young child. Chance and his wife visited the Texas coast on summer vacation in 2009, and they decided to relocate to the coast six months later.

Soon after moving to the Rockport area. Chance became very active in the fly fishing community and started working at Swan Point Landing in Rockport. With the encouragement of several close friends and inspiration found fly fishing in the bays, Chance's love of art was rekindled.

Previously his primary focus was sketching, but Chance began developing his skill as a painter in October of 2011. Early in 2012, Chance met Herb Booth, a renowned artist who also lives in Rockport. Mr. Booth has been quite influential in helping develop Chance's style and technique as an artist.

Chance is very passionate about wildlife and conservation. He finds true fulfillment being able to express his love for hunting and fishing sports in his artwork. The authenticity of the scenes Chance paints is easily recognizable to any sportsman, because Chance uses years of hunting and fishing as inspiration for most of his work.
