Artists Gary Brown and John Chinn have collaborated on "Nightfish," an exhibition inspired by their visits to the Texas Coast. Chinn creates detailed drawings of people and landscapes from coastal fishing piers, and Brown constructs colorful fish forms that are mixed-media screenprints. The exhibition debuted at Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts in Lubbock, and will make its first Gulf Coast appearance at RCA.
Gary Brown is a professor in the Art Department at Laredo Community College, and John Chinn teaches drawing in the College of Architecture at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
Join us Saturday, August 8 to meet the two artists and see their collaborative installation.
